THE HUNGRY JACKAL

The greedy Jackal :    

THE HUNGRY JACKAL

There lived a jackal in a forest. One day it did not get any food in the forest and was very hungry.  
The king and his men come for hunting   
The king of the nearby kingdom had come to the forest for hunting and his men were staying in a corner of the forest. The hungry jackal sneaked into that part in search of some flesh.  

The huge battle drum :

He came across a huge battle-drum. The king used to call the soldiers by beating it. The jackal struck the drum  with grass and it made some noise. The jackal mistook the drum  to  be physically handicapped animal and the sound to be its crying. 

The jackal judged wrongly and got trapped  :   

The jackal pierced the drum diaphragm, which made a big sound. The jackal entered into the drum. On entering inside,  the jackal found no food there. He could not find his way out of the drum.

The jackal loses his life :

The jackal desperately moved inside the drum and this caused sound.

Hearing the loud sound of the drum, some soldiers came rushing. Seeing the jackal trapped inside the drum, the king's men laughed at the foolishness of the jackal and killed it. 

MORAL OF THE STORY    

Judgements, taken in a state of hunger, are most likely to be defective. So never take critical decisions when you are hungry. 

In studies :     

Hunger temporarily affects memory. So avoid hunger during studies.
