IT IS EASIER TO SAID THAN DONE

THE REAL TRUTH

Amiya Baba - the God-man :

People worshipped the Baba as a God.  He used to give religious discourses and sermons to the people. People used to come from far and wide to have his  Darshan and worship him.

He was very kind. He was famous for the many miracles made real by him. He was able to cure the incurable sick.

Pradip - a research fellow  :

Once Pradip, a University researcher. took up his thesis Subject -  God-men of India tor his Ph-D degree. He studied re life and activities of many Godmen of India and Baba Amiya as one of them. So Pradip went to interview the Baba.

Pradip interviews the Baba :

The Baba granted an interview. He answered all the questions of Pradip as they walked up and down the Baba's courtyard. He was surprised at the kind-hearted words of the Baba. The Baba had a great depth of understanding on God especially on Kartavya or what should be the duties of a man.

The shipwreck :

That day frontline news of a shipwreck was published in the newspaper. At one point, the Baba referred to the Ship wreck and said. "Lives are so precious, be it of humans or animals or plants !"

Baba speaks on value of lives and duty :

"Nobody has any right to take another's life whether intentionally or unintentionally! See some fool, must not have done their duty or the Kartavya properly. So the ship malfunctioned and sank bringing death to sa many innocent lives. Damn that person who did not do his duty!"

And ... the true Baba was exposed :

Suddenly the Baba yelled, "Oh stupid ants!". The Baba had been stung by an army of ants near whose nest he happened to stand. The angry Baba trampled on all the ants to death with his feet.

A surprised Pradip thought to himself "Is it the same man whD was preaching him on the value of lives and the sense duty a few seconds ago?" How could ha kill so many ants.
Pradip returned to write his thesis on the Baba who was a fraud. There were many Babas who preach one thing and do something else.

MORAL OF THE STORY

1. It is easier to say than to do.
2. It is wrong to advise something which you do not practice yourself.

In studies :

Never teach sermons on how to study to your youngsters, unless you can practice it yourself.
