SELF DECLARED INTELLIGENT
The farmer and his wheat field :
There was a farmer with a piece of wheat field. Once the crop was very good. The farmer used to guard his field to scare away the birds that used to damage his crop.
He had a sling and used to brandish it whenever the birds came.
The bird who thought himself "intelligent" :
Few days passed by. There was a bird, who thought himself to be "Intelligent". Because of his out spookiness, most birds also believed him to be intelligent.
This "intelligent" suggests to other birds :
This bird could understand the , farmer's trick. He said to his friends, "See, this farmer is using an empty sling. Therefore, he cannot do us any harm to us. , So we need not be afraid of him and can : pick wheat even if he brandishes his sling."
All the birds chirped together, "Yaaaaaaaaah" .
Next day in the field :
Next day onwards the farmer was surprised to see that the birds did not take any notice even if he brandished the sling violently.
This "intelligent" bird dies :
The farmer got wild, charged the sling with stones and killed some birds. The first to be killed was the one who had advised the other birds not to be afraid of the farmer.
The frightened birds started fleeing as fast as they could. Next day onwards there was no bird menace in the field!
If words or persuasion do not work .....
The farmer thought, "If words or persuasion do not work, one must use blunt force even if it is deadly.
MORAL OF THE STORY
- If words or persuasion do not work, one must use blunt force even if it is deadly.
- A person cannot be called intelligent, if he does not have enough foresight.
In studies :
- If a friend of yours does not listen you to your advices to study, tell his parents and get him punished by them, since it is for their good only.
- If you do not study hard now, you are never intelligent. It indicates, that you do not have a foresight of your future.
