WHENEVER TWO QUARREL, THE THIRD WINS

QUARREL OF LION AND TIGER

A lion and a tiger :

There lived a lion in a forest. There was a very big tiger also in the forest. He was quite big and strong.

A fox :

One day both were hungry and wandering in search of food. They found a fox that had a big piece of fresh piece of flesh in his mouth.

They both sprang on the fox for the flesh. The fox ran for his life leaving behind the flesh.

It was only one piece. Therefore, a fight arose between the tiger and the lion. It was a fierce fight. Both were equally strong.

Lion and the tiger fell flat :

After sometime, both of them were badly injured and started bleeding profusely. They were exhausted and both fell flat on the ground. They got so weak that they could not even get up.

All along, from behind the bush, the fox was watching them fight. Seeing the two flat, it came out of the bush and moved about the two to confirm that they can do no harm to him.

The fox enjoys kicking the tiger and the lion :

The fox laughed at the foolish two. Kicked them merrily. The lion and the tiger saw him moving and kicking like a king, but they were unable to get up. Then the fox picked up the flesh ate it in front of them. Whatever was balance left out, the fox carried off to home for his children.

The 'foals' realize that they were fools :

The lion said to the tiger, "We fools fought to become weak sufficiently and to serve the weakest fox!"
